Escallonia Pink Spires

Escallonia Pink Spires ‘pmoore30’ has finally been released after 15 years of plant breeding.

The result I believe is an outstanding new introduction and worthy of a place in any garden.

Young plants are being produced by two of the country’s liner nurseries and are to be launched at the National Plant Show in June 2025

  • Large pink flowers from early July, repeat flowering in the autumn
  • Low evergreen with rounded, dark glossy green foliage
  • Any well drained soil
  • Hardy to  -15°C
  • Loves full sun or partial shade
  • Excellent for a low hedge or stand alone shrub
  • Disease free
  • Lightly shear after flowering in the spring
