Escallonia Pink Spires ‘pmoore30’ has finally been released after 15 years of plant breeding.
The result I believe is an outstanding new introduction and worthy of a place in any garden.
Young plants are being produced by two of the country’s liner nurseries and are to be launched at the National Plant Show in June 2025
- Large pink flowers from early July, repeat flowering in the autumn
- Low evergreen with rounded, dark glossy green foliage
- Any well drained soil
- Hardy to -15°C
- Loves full sun or partial shade
- Excellent for a low hedge or stand alone shrub
- Disease free
- Lightly shear after flowering in the spring
- Bees love it
