Buddleja

Buddleja are beautiful and magical when covered in butterflies.

In 2016, I compiled and funded www.buddlejacollection.com the most comprehensive website on the Buddleja genus listing all of the plants in The National Collection at Longstock.

I have been keeper of the collection for 14 years and have had an interest in Buddlejas for over 25 years.

I have been trying to develop a range of better behaved sterile Buddleja that will flower for longer and be more compact. I have raised 5 that are totally sterile, 2 are not compact but are excellent for the back of the border.

I have introduced a further 11 of which 8 are being trialled to be marked in 2019-20
